roomy.space is also free, and we'd like to keep it that way. But as indies, our free offering is entirely contingent on a steady revenue stream to balance out the budget.
Our pricing philosophy is quite simply to charge extra for scale. Communication tooling should be freely accessible to all, but large scale operations cannot feasibly be serviced free of charge.
Roomy Pro: Discord bridging at scale
The first component of our Pro offering is quite simply a raised members limit on our Discord bridge.
We've been privately testing the bridge with early adopters, but as of today the bridge is freely accessible to everyone. The tiers are as follows:
Free: up to 50 members (for upstart communities)
Pro: up to 1000 members1
Custom: talk to us for larger scale operations
The numbers we're starting with are fairly conservative and we're hoping to raise the baseline as we learn more about our resource constraints.
